Light, our light… illuminates our path and guides us through life until our last breath. We seek it, yearn for it, and invoke it when we wander in the dark. Light and shadows are a constant in our lives and are the foundation of photography. This image was captured in the early morning hours of August 5th, 2020. There I was, like other nights, on the shores of the Mediterranean in the town of Altea, the town that has been a source of inspiration and my refuge since I discovered it. The light of the moon reflected in the sea, mesmerized and calmed me. That is exactly what this work does by hypnotizing the observer through its tranquility.
